I've also been getting a lot out of my garden lately. Everything is ripening and maturing all at once.
My favorite (at the moment) is the swiss chard. I feel like I am eating candy because of the colors.

And I've been using herbs every day as well.

Clockwise from the top left: thai basil, italian basil, cilantro, chives, and lemon balm.
My sunflowers are taller than me as well. :)

My cilantro looks nothing like yours! I wonder what I am doing wrong. All it does is shoot up flowers, which I know is bad. I bet your sunflowers are pretty. :)
ah, I love this time of year with all the gardens giving out tasty treats!! that little corduroy object is most intriguing....

I'm excited to see the result of your little experiment! Also, your gardening skills continue to make me seriously envious!
Carolyn,
Mine shot up a couple of days ago too, I didn't get too much out of it before it did so, but what little I did get was delicious!
Julie,
me too! :)
there will be more to come regarding this project soon!
hibou,
I am still learning a lot about gardening! It took a summer of garden fail to produce this summer's quasi win garden. :)
